Today's the big day! Six months after being rolled into Heartland, my dad is walking out! He's going home and couldn't be more excited! He will miss the people at Heartland, my sister and I will not miss the drive:) New challenges lie ahead.
Please continue to pray for my dad's full recovery, and feel free to call/stop by frequently. One thing that hasn't changed is his love to converse:)

I was pleasantly surprised when I checked this blog and read that your Dad went home March 4. What wonderful news for all of you! I hope you check in here occasionally just to up date us on how things are going. He must be thrilled to be home. I know your family will still have some concerns about him being alone, but I can imagine he is just so happy to be in his own place.
